Reflexology – the next step in your journey to wellness

How can Reflexology help me?

Experts estimate that upwards of ninety percent of disease is stress-related. And perhaps nothing ages us faster, internally and externally, than high stress.  Reflexology is an effective tool for managing this stress, which translates into:

  • Relaxation.
  • Increased circulation.
  • Balance of the body systems.

Is Reflexology just a foot massage?

Definitely not!  While reflexology and massage share some great health benefits (such as relaxation and increased circulation), reflexology focuses on stimulating the complex neural pathways connecting reflexes on the hands/feet with their corresponding organs and body systems.  The reflexologist primarily use their fingers and thumbs for techniques such as finger- and thumb-walking, hook-in-and-back-up, and rotating on a point.

About Alison (she/her)

I am nationally certified as a foot reflexologist through the American Reflexology Certification Board.  I feel privileged to have studied with some extremely skilled reflexologists, including Bob Wolfe and Karen Ball.

I believe that our bodies have an incredible ability to heal themselves when given proper support and energy.  It is deeply gratifying to help clients release tension and stress, creating a bodywork session that can promote healing and overall wellness.

Every body – and every foot – is worthy of healing touch!
